Clouds (1 file)

Everest sunset - at 15000ft
6pm - at the end of a long day's trek to Tyangboche monastery, the clouds below Everest burned red and gold as the sunlight disappeared beneath the mountains.

Nepal (1 file)

This holds special memories as it was not only a remarkable experience but was also my introduction to photography. Amateur Photographer commissioned an idea I submitted to write an article about a photographic novice - me at the time - learning to use a great camera in a spectacular location. I'd just signed up for a charity trek to Everest Base Camp and was thinking of ways to raise money. Canon provided a camera for me to work with. I got hooked, and the rest, as they say, is history.
