Precariously perched 12000ft up in the Nepalese Himalayas, Namche Bazaar
serves the communities higher on the route to Everest with its weekly Saturday market. Accessible only on foot or by helicopter, many Nepalese trek three days to market then three days home again. The properties are all constructed from stone hewn out of the mountainside by hand, topped with colourful corrugated iron roofs.
